Aug 27, 2025: New paper out today! This Nature paper is the result of a massive international collaboration led by Drs. Gayani Senevirathne and Terry Capellini at Harvard that set out to get at exactly how humans evolved to walk upright on two legs. I contributed CT scanning of some specimens and 3D anatomical modeling of them, but there were so many techniques used, from CT scanning to histology to transcriptomics and single-cell sequencing, it is truly an amazing piece of work.
